About us

Since our establishment in 1930, many travelers have stayed at our Japanese-style inn in Takachiho, the place known for the legend of "the descent of the gods from heaven." We welcome guests with homemade seasonal cuisine. Takachiho-cho is blessed with scenic beauty such as Takachiho gorge and the 'clouds of sea' in Kunimigaoka, and celebrates its traditions in traditional Yo-kagura court dance and music representing the interactions between gods and human beings. Here people can enjoy a peaceful Japanese traditional lifestyle integrated with Japanese nature.
